Hiking paths in the Jeseníky mountains

On paths where cars can't go and are too steep for bikes, hiking is the only option! This is all the more true in the Jeseníky mountains. Here there are hiking paths of all levels of difficults and lenght, from traversing the mountains along the main route to day trips to the highest peaks or short easy walks in sandals. The Jeseníky mountains offer unique opportunities for hiking for all. Just choose your path.

Do Rychlebských hor

Rychlebské hory, the seventh highest mountain range in the Czech Republic, are located west of the town of Jeseník. Its main ridge lies on the Czech-Polish border, where the mountains range into Poland. Its highest peak is Smrk (1,125 metres) which is a crossing point of hiking trails.

The most important transition point across the Jeseníky, Červenohorské sedlo, divides the Hrubý Jeseník into the mountain massif Keprník and the massif Praděd. It is an important crossroads of hiking trails from which one can reach various interesting points as well as a starting point for mountain ridge hikes.

Staré Město - Králický Sněžník - Staré Město. The town of Staré Město pod Sněžníkem is surrounded by mountains. It lies on the boundary of the enormous massif of Králický Sněžník (1,424 m altitude) and Hrubý Jeseník (1,492 m altitude). The local mountain landscape is an ideal place for hiking trips through nature as well as demanding ascents. You will discover here a range of well-marked hiking trails from which a number involve significant altitude climbs.
